The Red Design

Are you a charity, group, society or other small organisation? Are you also in need or a website design or logo redesign?

The Red Design is a one-person independent web and graphic design studio based in Manchester, staffed by myself, Tom Parson.

From over 6 years' experience I have learned that a clean, simple and intuitive design is almost always the most effective. I tailor each of my projects around the specific needs of each client to create something that fits comfortably within your group or organisation.

I have extensive experience in HTML and CSS, PHP and SQL, and Photoshop editing and moderate experience with Javascript and AJAX coding. I am solely responsible for every part of each of my projects, and each is created from scratch by myself.

All of my services are highly affordable, and I take on jobs of varying sizes. If you're interested or would like to talk about possible services not listed here, don't hesitate to get in touch.

ShowMeWhere
Remember when maps were on paper and not on a screen? We couldn't zoom, get directions, lookup addresses or see our current location. However, paper maps were much better at one thing: showing someone where something is. You just pointed to it.

ShowMeWhere aims to recreate this simple 'pointing' mechanism in the world of digital maps. The service is a simple and streamlined collaborative map service, making it quick and easy to share any location with anyone, from any device.

Chase CVS
The Chase CVS website project was a redesign of an existing site of a slow and clunky design.

The aim of the redesign was to throw that image away and recreate a welcoming, fresh, clean atmosphere.

Also implemented into the site were an RSS Feed and an electronic version of a membership form.
